Mysterious Memory Shifts

Stories and memories are important. 

That is why so many of us keep, or have kept,  journals or diaries.

Recall a time in your life when you shared something significant with someone else.  Each write a short story about it.   Compare your stories. 

Be curious about the inconsistencies, they will be there.  Unless something very specific was written down for you to refer to, you may want to get comfortable with the changing story.  This story sharing is a way of communicate in the present moment. 

The present moment is the only reliable story.  As many wise seers have said, there is power in the present moment.

Embarrassment Might Be Just What You Need

I would very much like to start with my first - real - entry focusing on embarrassment.

You will often hear that you should not be embarrassed when working on self-improvement or wellness.

I’m going to take a comfortable position on the fence and disagree and agree.

Wellness: One Size Does Not Fit All

Wellness looks different for everybody.

One size does not fit all.

What has worked for me in the past may not be right for you, or may be unsustainable given your current situation. But I’ve learned more through my failed attempts at what worked for others than I have through my own successes. 

Intrusive Thoughts, Intentional Thoughts

Not all thoughts are energetically the same.

This may seem like common sense, but we do little to navigate our way from Intrusive Thoughts to Intentional Thoughts.

We can make this positive shift with some awareness and intention!

Because Intentional Thoughts bring us joy. Intrusive. Thoughts bring us confusion.

You Are Just One Degree Away From What You Desire

What do you desire?  Clearly identify the feelings associated with that desire.  Write them down now.

Next write down what you expect to happen regarding this desire.

Do your desires and expectations match?

If not, are you willing to shift your expectations to appreciations?
