Jason Macy-Moore
Possibility Detectives Editor-In-Chief
Jason Macy-Moore (Jay) is the Editor-In-Chief for Possibility Detectives. He earned his Masters in Sustainable Tourism at Lesley University, where he also attended to receive his undergraduate studies. He majored in Global Studies with a minor in Creative Writing. During his tenure with Lesley Jay journeyed to locations around the globe. Including Morocco, India, Peru, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. During those trips, he performed duties as a guide in training and later as a co-guide to help students navigate foreign cultures.
Since 2012 Jay has lived in Central America, split between Belize and Costa Rica, where he has been the general manager of a jungle resort and owner of a restaurant. Currently, he acts as a concierge for large group tourism for universities. His work with student groups centers around providing them with an all-encompassing experience. Not only for accommodations and transportation. But cultural demonstrations intended to expand the student’s perspective on the world and humanity’s interconnectedness.
Jay is also a freelance writer, editor, and social media content creator for various organizations. Including tourism outfits, iGaming industries, politics, and of course Possibility Detectives, where he serves as the Editor-In-Chief. His blog series for Possibility Detectives is centered around his personal journey through health and wellness. You do not need to read them in order, though it is recommended you do read Wellness: One Size Does Not Fit All. Doing this will help form the narrative of his pieces and give a broader perspective of where his thoughts come from.
However, his real passion in life is writing for his personal enjoyment. Anything from short stories, to comic book style writing, to microfiction. Currently, he spends his free time writing his fantasy novel, which he hopes one day will be available to the public.
