5 Steps to Letting Go

You are just 5 Steps from letting go of what isn't working for you any longer.

5 Steps to letting in more joy and contentment in your life.

Sometimes letting go can feel scary.

Not knowing the outcome of letting go of a person, a job, a way of living keeps you stuck in unhealthy relationships with others and with yourself. But, by letting go of what isn't working for you, you are making room to let in more of what will make your life happier and more meaningful.

And there has never been a better time than right now. Think of something that you are holding onto, something that is blocking the way for you to be truly happy. Want to let it go?

Want to make room in your life for greater joy and satisfaction?

Revisiting Forgiveness

I am revisiting forgiveness because it's on mind so often these days.  I am in want of some deep self-forgiveness. Writing about it helps immensely. Forgiveness always involves forgiving oneself. Forgiving oneself is often harder than forgiving someone else. "Just because it's hard doesn't make it bad." A wise friend once said that to me at a very challenging time in my life.  I hear her voice saying those words to me as if she were beside me right now. Is forgiveness always right? Only you can answer that question for you. But I would say that self-forgiveness is absolutely always right if you want to heal from a painful story.

5 Money IQ Clues

What is your relationship with money or abundance?

Is it fearful and resistant? Or comfortable and accepting?

If you are having strong negative feelings, or body sensations, about this then you probably resist having a healthy relationship with money. This is not unusual.

If you are feeling that you've tried to attract abundance but have never been able to, you are probably resisting.

Unfortunately, resistance takes many paths as it settles into a way of life (with a poverty mentality).

Fortunately, these paths can be redirected establishing a healthier relationship with money (with a joyful mentality).

If you want to shift your relationship with money, follow the 5 Money IQ (Inner Quest) Clues from fearful to fruitful.

Spiritual Crisis

If 'Nothing is Written in Stone' then what is reality?

What is a belief? Are beliefs real if they can change from one moment to the next? Where do beliefs come from?

This week I found myself questioning much of what I profess to believe in.

Am I having an existential or spiritual crisis? I don't think so.

Intuitive Nutrition, Unconscious Eating

There is an orange and a chocolate candy bar sitting on your kitchen table.

You've just finished eating lunch and you are ready for dessert.

Your goal is to eat as nutritiously as possible, and maybe lose a few pounds.

Do you choose the orange or the chocolate candy bar?

Most people would obviously choose the orange. Right?

Then why do you so often go for the candy bar, or both? Why do you knowingly choose the food that is less nutritious and more likely to lead to unwanted weight gain?
